Hey Kids! Guess what time it is! That’s right, it’s Trainwreck Tuesday Time! Welcome back to the column where you get decide the fate of chittlin chomper groverXIII!!! We strap him down on Saturdays to listen to all matter of terrible, horrible, no good, very bad music in an effort to slowly erode his psyche, and we’re just depraved enough to let you in on the fun as well…
Every week on Trainwreck Tuesday™ we will be posting two or more of the absolute worst songs/videos that we can find so that you might vote as to which band’s latest release the pork purveyor must suffer through on everybody’s favorite column, Shitty Music Saturday™. You’ll have until Friday at 5:00pm EST. to cast your vote for the best of the worst (Or would it be worst of the worst? Either way, groverXIII loses)!
This week’s theme: The Other White Meat Presents – Dr. Acula Vs. From Us To Sunset
Pigs are awesome animals. They provide us with bacon, bbq, ham and pork chops. They eat just about anything and turn it into compost. Someday they may even save your life. The problem with pigs? They have put the words “Oink”, “Squeal” and “Bree” into the vernacular of shitty chug bands the world over. Prepare yourself groverXIII! You’re heading out to the farm this week.
First up today we have Dr. Acula. Lets see just how many jokes we can make eh? They suck. If I wear garlic will their fans stay away from me? Can vampire pigs fly? They can’t play festivals because of the whole sunlight thing. Vampires Everywhere have filed a lawsuit against them for character defamation in Transylvania. Know what sucks more then a terrible deathcore band? Taking your name from an episode of Scrubs.
From Us To Sunset is our second band, These Russians (Moscow) play what can only be categorized as progressive squealcore. I think the music itself might not be all that bad, except I just cant see or hear anything beyond the barn animal they have “singing”. The BREEkdowns are especially painful. You’ve been warned.

I honestly can’t decide. All pig squeal are equally terrible to me.
Honest to Odin, I am terrified of pigs. They would happily eat people.
I voted Dr Acula because i had to sit through a set of theirs once. Place was packed with scene kids, and not the ” karate kid” scenesters, the “cant mess up my hair” scenesters. I still have nightmares *weeps softly*

Hey, I enjoy Dr.Acula, but only because they are a joke band and do not take themselves seriously. Piano Lessons Can Be Murder and Say Cheese and Die Again make me chuckle.
Deffo has to e the russian one, the songs are longer and that’s just plain bad.
I believe “Dr. Acula” was a Mitch Hedberg joke long before it was a Scrubs one.

yea dr. acula is definitally worse! i vote we shove that steamy pile of pigshit down his throat, sorry grove. from us to sunset was actually really good at their respective instruments, and i wasnt bothered by their song at all.
The aqueals = horrible on both songs. But like lord assenfroth the other song didn’t bother me much, nice blasts and some cool parts, except the chug chug/double bass/breeeeeeeee breakdown at the end. Not a bit much at all..nono
And you might say that dr.acula is a joke band, but they are obviously trying to sell records, and I can’t even begin to imagine why.. That song is possibly the worst piece of “musicianship” I’ve ever heard, I hope they suffocate on pigs blood.

I have only one thing to say: Scrubs is awesome. Also I voted for Dr. Acula. Ok that was two things.
Looks like Dr. Acula’s winning… now I have to decide if I’m going to go for Scrubs jokes or Mitch Hedberg jokes. Tough call, because I love both equally.
