Dagoba Leaks (?) ‘Waves Of Doom’ – I Just Peed A Little

Fuck to the yes! A track titled ‘Waves Of Doom‘ off of Dagoba‘s new album Poseidon has leaked/been posted onto YouTube. The song loops twice, so feel free to stop it when you hear the birds chirping around the 4:30 mark.
Poseidon is due out August 30th. The other track that has been officially released is ‘Black Smokers‘, which you can see along with my thoughts on the 2 new tracks after the jump.
Both tracks are in the “pretty good” category for me, although I’m still waiting for one to really wow me like Face The Colossus did. They seem to be staying with the more polished sound that they had on FTC, whereas I’d rather hear a return to What Hell Is About territory as far as tempo and more aggressive vocals. Although I must say, Shawter seems to be making massive strides as a clean vocalist by letting the uniqueness of his voice show up more than in previous endeavors. The biggest positive though? it meets DGR’s “Nautical Albums Are Awesome” criteria.
